Abstract submissions remain open until 31 July 2024, but all new submissions will only be considered for poster presentations.

Honorary and plenary speakers of UCRA 3 have now been confirmed. We are delighted to welcome these outstanding scientists on board of our conference:

  • Frances H. Arnold (Caltech, Nobel Prize in chemistry 2018), on using evolution to optimize existing enzyme catalysts and invent new ones.
  • Jeffrey A. Hoffman (MIT, 5× NASA astronaut), on MOXIE project, to electrolytically produce oxygen from carbon dioxide in the Martian atmosphere.
  • Marc-Olivier Coppens (UCL), on taking clues from nature to advance catalysis and reactor engineering for sustainable development.
  • Joanna Kargul (University of Warsaw), on electron transfer in biomolecular solar conversion nanodevices.
  • Sabine Flitsch (University of Manchester), on biocatalysis.
  • Karsten Reuter (Fritz-Haber-Institute, Berlin), on machine learning in exploration of catalytic reaction networks.
  • Martin van Sint Annaland (Eindhoven University of Technology), on 3D printed catalyst structures.
